Black and Gold Game

This is the last of the April pictures. We took the kids to the Black and Gold football game, which turned out to be a cold, rainy, fussy, disaster of a day. Maggie was petrified of Truman (no idea why - she'd just give him a high five two months earlier at a basketball game) and cried and whined the entire time before the game. Sam was cute and adorable and loved all the action before the game. When the game started, Maggie did a complete turn-around and watched the game, talked about the players and what was happening and basically had a great time. Of course Sam got BORED after the first couple of plays because he had to sit still. We were about 40 rows up with very few people in front of us. I could just see Sam tumbling down the bleachers/stairs and winding up back in the ER, so I was pretty nervous with him running around. Anyway, we left at halftime with two unhappy children. Let's hope they get their act together by September! Highlight of the day - seeing my good friends Kristen and Jay, who tolerated our children and sat by us!
