Not Too Impressed with Santa...

A few days before Christmas, my mom and dad treated Maggie, Sam and me (Dave was sleeping) to Christmas brunch at Old Hawthorne. Santa was there, but my kiddos didn't want much to do with him. Maggie took the candy cane her offered her, but that's about it.

Later, Maggie wanted to play Santa with Dave. She was Santa and asked Dave what he wanted for Christmas. He said, "A little girl who listens and does what her mommy and daddy tell her to do." She looked him straight in the eye and replied matter-of-factly, "I don't have any of those." Too cute!
