Decorating Grandma and Grandpa Alexander's Tree

Each year, Dave's parents have all the grandkids decorate the tree. It gets crazier and louder every year. Now they're up to six grandkids, three of which (Grace, Maggie and Kate) are REALLY into tree-decorating. And another one (Sam) who just wants to be in the middle of everything and undo what the "big girls" put on the tree!

And before anyone comments, yes, Maggie and Sam are wearing matching sweaters. It must be a grandma thing, because my mom and Dave's mom thought it was "too cute." Dave and I just hope Sam is man-enough to put up with the teasing in 15 years!

We also decorated sugar cookies. In the last two pictures, you'll see that Maggie was very proud of her M&M decorations. Sam, on the other hand, choose to skip decorating and just handfuls of M&M's!
