There really is a reason for this scary Sam picture. He fell backwards and hit his head on the coffee table. When he did that, he bit down and took a big chunk out of the middle of his tongue. My brother-in-law is a dermatologist and told me to take some pictures so he could see what it looked like. So here's a picture of the wound, and the rest are funny looks that I just happened to snap while trying to get a decent picture of his tongue.
