Every October, David's family cooks apple butter (about 112 quarts this year) at his Grandma Alexander's house. They start the fire at about 3:30 am and cook all day. Here, Maggie is taking a ride with Grandpa Alexander and Aunt Julia!The picture below is Maggie and her cousin Kate in their matching apple outfits! It's not a great picture but getting the two of them together for it was like "herding cats" (to quote my friend Melanie!)
